PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an equivalent resolution of a broadband modulation signal through a simple combination of continuous waves.SOLUTION: An apparatus for detecting an antenna position includes; a continuous wave generator unit 12 which generates continuous waves of N different frequencies specified by a frequency controlling unit 13; a timing control unit 11 which controls transmission timing; calibration antennas 20 which receive the N continuous waves transmitted by an antenna 10; integrator units 21 which compute sums of the received N continuous waves; correlation processing units 22 which perform correlation arithmetic on the sums of the continuous waves and a reference signal; arrival time estimation units 23 for estimating arrival time of each continuous wave transmitted from the antenna 10 by using a mutual correlation value; and a position estimation unit 24 which estimates the position of the antenna 10 using the estimated arrival time values.
