PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnosis of Parkinson's disease.SOLUTION: A method is provided, which includes a step for measuring an isotype III (neuregulin 1, NRG1) of Neuregulin-1 in a test sample resulting from a subject, determines that there is the possibility the subject is affected with Parkinson's disease when a measurement value is smaller than a reference value, and selects a subject having the possibility of being affected with Parkinson's disease. A kit used for a diagnosis of Parkinson's disease, including an antibody for peculiarly recognizing an NRG1 type III&bgr; is provided. |
