PURPOSE: An NFC-based tourist destination information providing system and a method thereof provide a tourist visiting a tourist destination with the details of the place; save the tourist from using his/her mobile phone to search for information about the place and decide in what order he/she will watch or enjoy several famous attractions within the place; and recommend a specific way to effectively enjoy the place regarding the tourist's gender, age, and each attraction's estimated time to watch. CONSTITUTION: An identifier receiving unit receives the identifier of a user mobile device and an NFC tag identifier read by an NFC module of the user mobile device (S505). An identifier storing unit stores the user mobile device's identifier and the NFC tag identifier (S506). A path processing unit identifies the mobile device user's traveling path by placing tag identifiers in the identifier storing unit in chronological order (S508).
