A plastic cap (5) for unsealing a sealing sheet excellent in unsealing property and pleasant to the taste and, particularly, when it is applied to hot beverage, capable of unsealing the sealing sheet (4) at an opening part without allowing fingers to touch the hot beverage in unsealing. The cap (5) fitted to the flange (2) of a cup type container (1) for hot beverage sealed by the sealing sheet (4) comprises an unsealing member (30) having a cutting edge, a lever member (40) connected to the unsealing member (30) and pushing down the cutting edge of the unsealing member (30), and a cap body having an opening for connecting and storing the unsealing member (30) and the lever member (40) through a hinge formed between the unsealing member (30) and the cap body. A stopper locking the unsealing member (30) at an unsealing position is vertically installed in the opening of the cap body. Engagement parts (43) and (44) for locking the lever member (40) after the unsealing at an initial start position are formed on the lever member (40). |
