PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opto-tomographic image capturing apparatus for eyes, capable of acquiring excellent tomographic images suitable for observation and analysis.SOLUTION: An image capturing apparatus includes: an image capturing optical system 100 for acquiring by optical scanning, a plurality of tomographic images of an eye to be examined; and an image processing means 70 for obtaining a displacement distribution that is a distribution of a deviation for each A-scan among the plurality of tomographic images captured by the image capturing optical system 100, and correcting the deviation among the tomographic images on the basis of the obtained displacement distribution. The apparatus obtains the information about positional deviation of a target tomographic image to a reference tomographic image for image units, and corrects the positional deviation among the tomographic images on the basis of the information about positional deviation acquired for image units. |
