PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent instantaneous interruption of communication in a duplicated data communication device.SOLUTION: A data communication device comprises: processing units XPCA and XPCB having a duplicated configuration composed of a first system and a second system including a plurality of ports of communication interfaces respectively; and switches XSWA and XSWB having a duplicated configuration composed of a first system and a second system including a plurality of ports of communication interfaces respectively, where: the same systems and different systems of each processing unit and each switch are connected with each other through respective ports; the processing unit XPCA of the first system transmits packets to a first destination and a second destination of a preset partner device through the switch XSWA of the first system; the processing unit XPCB of the second system has a function for transmitting packets to a third destination and a fourth destination of the preset partner device through the switch XSWB of the second system; and the processing units XPCA and XPCB have a function for generating packets having transmission data with sequence numbers. |
