<p>A method for RGB color space gamut conversion, comprising: matching projection points N and M of any one point o in the RGB color space of an original image to coordinates on an original cube; matching projection points N' and M' of point o' of a target cube to coordinates on the target cube; calculating the coordinates on the target cube on the basis of the coordinates on the original cube; calculating the projection points N' and M' on the target cube on the basis of the calculated coordinates on the target cube; calculating the point, point o', on the target cube corresponding to the any one point o in the RGB color space of the original image on the basis of N' and M' as calculated; and thus calculating a color conversion adjusted target color. Also, a device and liquid crystal display device for RGB color space gamut conversion. The method allows for conversion of a color signal in the RGB color space, for adjustments of output color hue and of color purity performance, and for specific enhancement and highlight of a particular preferred color.</p> |
