<p>The present invention relates to the technical field of wireless communications; disclosed is a cell selection method and device, so that when initiating a service or handover, a user equipment is more accurately connected to a cell capable of serving the service to finish a service process, the signaling overhead load is reduced, and the user experience is improved. The method comprises: acquiring a type of a service served by a cell and signal quality corresponding to the cell; selecting, according to the type of the service served by the cell and the signal quality corresponding to the cell, as well as a service type of a service initiated by a user equipment, at least one cell capable of providing the service for the user equipment. Embodiments of the present invention are mainly applied to a cell selection process when a user equipment initiates a service or handover.</p> |
