<p>PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to prevent the explosion and ignition of a battery while preventing the internal short between a positive electrode and a negative electrode due to external impact. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery includes an electrode assembly (180); a battery case (110) accommodating the electrode assembly; a lead terminal (190) which is extended from the electrode assembly across the battery case and is drawn outside the battery case; a sealing tape (193) which is formed at a part crossing the battery case on a lead terminal; and an insulating member (195) which is located at a part on the lead terminal to be overlapped with at least a part of the sealing tape. The insulating member is inserted between the lead terminal and the sealing tape.</p> |
