The clamping force generated by an electromechanical parking brake 1 in a vehicle, current measured values of the motor current are determined during an actuation of an electric brake motor and are checked for the presence of measurement errors, possibly due to electromagnetic interference (EMC), wherein correction current values are used to calculate the clamping force instead of the values with errors. The correction current values may be the values that follow the incorrect values or may be determined from a replacement function. |
