PURPOSE: A ski jump simulator and a control method thereof are provided to obtain a virtual training effect and to provide a ski jumping sensation to a user. CONSTITUTION: A ski jump simulator includes a base (11), a support member (10), actuators (51, 52) for controlling the gradient of the support member according to the geographic information on a course, a display (40) for providing a user information on external environments, a wearing member (80) which is worn on the user, floating units (81, 82) which connect to the wearing member and support the user in the air, motors (83, 84) which control the float state of the user by adjusting the length and tension of the floating units, sensors which are attached to the user and measure the body angle of the user, a ski member (20) which is worn on the user, and a control device (60) for controlling at least one among the actuator, the display, and the motors.
