PURPOSE: A modular multi-stage gear transmission easily forms a multi-stage transmission with nine stages or more by combining a three-stage transmission module and a second-stage transmission module. CONSTITUTION: A first planetary gear includes a first sun gear (S1), a first ring gear, a first pinion gear, and a first carrier (CR1). A second planetary gear includes a second sun gear (S2), a second ring gear, a second pinion gear, and a second carrier. The first ring gear and the second carrier are integrally combined. A second brake combines the second ring gear with a housing unit. A first clutch (C1) combines the first ring gear with the second ring gear.
