<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label printer for avoiding the skewing of a pasteboard after separation and surely preventing the degradation of printing quality in connection therewith and the cut of the pasteboard in the worst case. <P>SOLUTION: The label printer includes a pasteboard damper 160 provided at a position of interference with a guide passage for the pasteboard 114 ranging from a label separating part 121 which separates from the pasteboard 114 a label printed in a process for a label sheet to be carried by a carrying part, to a pasteboard winding shaft 119, for giving tension to the pasteboard 114 passing through the label separating part 121. Since the pasteboard damper 160 applies tension to the pasteboard 114 in an area between the label separating part 121 and the pasteboard winding shaft 119, there is no slack of the pasteboard 114 wound on the pasteboard winding shaft 119 during winding, thus avoiding the skewing of the pasteboard 114 and surely preventing the degradation of printing quality in connection therewith and the cut of the pasteboard in the worst case. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
