PURPOSE: A safety door lock is provided to prevent safety accidents by forming a predetermined space between a door and a door frame using a damper on the top of the door. CONSTITUTION: A safety door lock (100) comprises a handle part (110), a connecting bar, a latch part (130), and a damper part (140). A user grabs and rotates the handle part. The connecting bar is vertically arranged inside a door (10) to be adjacent to the front end part of the door. One end of the connecting bar is connected to the handle part to vertically reciprocate with the rotation of the handle part. The latch part is combined in the other end of the connecting bar and vertically reciprocates along the reciprocation of the connecting bar. The damper part protrudes from the side of a door frame (11) which is arranged on the top of a doorpost in the opening direction of the door. The damper part is arranged to be engaged with the latch part in the rotation of the door. |
