<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous electrode secondary battery with high charging/discharging efficiency in an initial charge-discharge efficiency and with high energy density. <P>SOLUTION: In the non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery, a lithium-containing material capable of storing and discharging lithium is used as a positive-electrode active material in a positive electrode.
