Thermoplastic molding composition with improved resistance against polymer chain degradation, comprises (a) 10-99.94 wt.% at least one thermoplastic polymer, (b) 0.05-20 wt.% particles comprising at least two elemental metals, which are in contact with each other, and (c) 0.01-70 wt.% at least one further additive, where the total weight of the components (a)-(c) is 100 wt.%. The elemental metals are present as a separate phase and do not form an alloy, where each phase comprises greater than 50 wt.% at least one metal. Independent claims are also included for: (1) preparing the thermoplastic molding composition, comprising mixing, preferably blending, kneading, compounding, extruding or rolling the components (a)-(c) and optionally (d) 5-70 wt.% fillers or reinforcing materials, preferably glass- or carbon fibers, preferably glass fibers, and/or (e) 0.25-10 wt.% at least one polyol comprising at least two hydroxy groups, at 220-360[deg] C; and (2) a substance mixture comprising at least one polyol, and the component (b). |
