PURPOSE: An adaptive antenna using a passive element is provided to maintain the optimum function of the antenna, by compensating input impedance and resonant frequency for external influence by controlling a short circuit state between the passive element and a ground plane. CONSTITUTION: An adaptive antenna using a passive element includes a substrate(110), a radiation element(120), and the passive element(130). The substrate has a dielectric constant, and a ground plane(GND) is formed on one surface or both surfaces thereof. The radiation element is extended with a reverse F shape from the ground plane formed on the front surface of the substrate. The passive element is located around the radiation element. Input impedance and resonant frequency are changed according to a short circuit state between the passive element and the ground plane. |
