A method of searching a cloud-based environments content repository, comprising searching for a term across multiple users the users being associated with an enterprise; wherein the term is accepted from an administrator of the enterprise account on the repository; and where the enterprise is a customer of the cloud-based environment. Filters may be used by the administrator for use in the search, wherein the search yields content collaborated on among multiple users within the organization The filters may be file name/content/description/comment/creation date/update date/owner/size/type/tag or a folder name. Also disclosed is a method determining a mapping between first and second file extensions and first and second file kinds, respectively; storing this mapping in a mapping database; performing a search for files in the content repository of a cloud-based collaboration platform based on a filter kind, wherein the results are content collaborated on between multiple users. |
