<p>A mechanism according to the invention for driving a child or dog gate is formed of a gate casing (1), which is open at its one side and which encloses the essential parts of the gate when the gate is in an open position, the upper conductor (4) is hinged so that it turns at its other end at the upper part of the gate casing (1) and can be turned out from the open side of the gate casing controlled by a mechanism in order to form the upper conductor of the gate and correspondingly when the gate is being opened it can be lowered back to the gate casing. The lower conductor (3) of the gate is fastened to a floor and it comprises at least one guide groove (36; 36.1). The gate spokes (2) are located parallel in the gate casing (1) when the gate is open and move in a line formation at a distance from each other controlled by the mechanism when the gate is being closed out of the open side of the gate casing and further between the upper conductor (4) and the lower conductor along the guide groove of the lower conductor till the free end of the upper conductor. Correspondingly when the gate is being opened the mechanism pulls the gate spokes (2) back to the gate casing in a line formation.</p> |
