Chimeric virus-like particles (VLP) containing functional hMPV proteins

The invention relates to the generation and the use of chimeric pseudo-particles VLPs containing hMPV glycoproteins assembled onto retroviral core particles. These particles may be highly infectious and constitute a valid model of hMPV virion. The invention also relates to the development of a vaccine based on such particles. The VLPs exhibit the hMPV F protein, possibly associated with the G protein. The retroviral core particle may be made from Gag protein, possibly with Pol.
