<p>A navigation tool holder (120) for a mobile device (100) can include a top holder (200), a bottom holder (205), and a cover (212) layered on top of the top holder (200). The top holder (200) defines an opening (207) for receiving a navigation tool (210). The bottom holder (205) is configured to matingly engage the top holder (200). A navigation tool (210) is housed between the top holder (200) and the bottom holder (205). The navigation tool (210) includes a top portion (211) protruding through the opening (207) of the top holder (200) and a flexible circuit (215) communicatively coupling the navigation tool (210) to a circuit board (700) of the mobile device (100). The cover layer (212) on the top holder (200) can surround the top portion (211) of the navigation tool (210) so that the cover (212) maintains an alignment of the navigation tool (210) with a housing (105) of the mobile device (100).</p> |
