METHOD FOR BEST MODELING AND ARRANGING MOORING SYSTEM FOR VESSELS

PURPOSE: A mooring system modeling using location selection optimization of a ship and an optimized arranging method thereof are provided to optimally arrange a mooring system by using an automated optimal- calculation logic while satisfying the conditions for the arrangement of the mooring system, thereby lightening the burden of a designer who composes the system arrangement. CONSTITUTION: The shape information about a hull of one kind of a ship which is an object to be arranged by a mooring system is extracted from a CAD system database exclusive for designing a ship (S20). The kinds and specifications of materials for the mooring system configuration are received from a user computer (S60). A value for the initial arrangement according to the number and location of ropes which are to be arranged on board is input into a CAD system for designing a ship (S80). The initial arrangement location of a mooring rope is designated as a corresponding section of the ship without a rule, and the component arrangement is recalculated by implementing the optimization of location selection (S100).
