METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF URETHRAL FISTULA IN CHILDREN FOLLOWING SURGERY FOR HYPOSPADIA

A method for the surgical treatment of urethral fistula in the children following surgery for hypospadia comprises the suturing of the fistula, the deepidermization of the edges of the urethral fistula and tightening the ligature. The urethral fistula is sutured with intradermal purse-string suture using non-absorbable 5/0 suture. For the deepidermization of the edges of the urethral fistula, electrocoagulation is provided with tightening of ligature and application of the circular bandage irrigated with antiseptic solution.
