FIELD: transport.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric power converters for railway rolling stock with regenerative braking. Proposed converter comprises: unit 10 (first electric power converter) to receive DC voltage and to output DC voltage controlled to preset threshold and inverter 30 (second electric power converter) connected to output of converter 10 to drive motor 40. Converter unit comprises converter control unit 14 (first control unit) to generate output voltage instruction VRFF on the basis of its input voltage that makes a control instruction for control over output voltage of converter 10.EFFECT: reliable stepwise control with voltage reduction in regeneration.14 cl, 5 dwg |
