FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention concerns a feeding nipple, particularly for infants and toddlers, wherein the nipple comprises: - a nipple cylinder with a hollow nipple portion comprising at least one through hole for fluids coupled with the hollow nipple cylinder underneath coupled with a nipple flange substantially in the form of a flat ring underneath designed to be attached to a fastening edge of a feeding bottle by means of a fastening ring comprising a fastening ring flange overlapping the nipple flange and presented in the form of a flat ring that is a contact area projecting downwards or upwards from the nipple flange or from the nipple cylinder above the nipple flange outwards into a space that accommodates the fastening ring flange, and - a flap valve which is open when the nipple flange is not attached to the feeding bottle, and which is placed in a deformed area adjoining the contact area so that if the nipple flange is attached by means of the fastening ring onto the feeding bottle, the flap valve is closed due to the deformation of the nipple flange and/or the nipple cylinder caused by the fastening ring pressure on the contact area.EFFECT: improved nipple design.17 cl, 13 dwg |
