PURPOSE: A cooler of a PDP is provided to minimize power consumption due to a thermoelectric element by operating the thermoelectric element only during the specified period of a PDP driving waveform. CONSTITUTION: A heat-sink unit(310) is arranged in one side of a printed circuit board. The heat-sink unit comprises an endoergic plate(312), a thermoelectric element(311), and a heat-sink plate(313). The endoergic plate is attached to an electronic component. The thermoelectric element is installed on the endoergic plate. The heat-sink plate is arranged on the thermoelectric element. A PDP driving waveform controller generates and applies a PDP driving waveform. A thermoelectric element driving control unit applies a current to the thermoelectric element during the specified period of a PDP driving waveform. |
