The invention relates to aerodynamics of a descent module, and can be used in development of space vehicles. A descent module has a fuselage, a landing gear, wings and a flight control system. The fuselage is wavy and made in the form of two identical hollow balls arranged in series (in tandem) along the longitudinal axis of the fuselage, and an adapter between them, and a front (fore) and rear (aft) fairing of the balls. The surface of descent module of proposed shape has a drag coefficient, which is less than by 2.5 - 3 times compared with the prior art resulting in the temperature decrease of aerodynamic surface contacting the air flow. |
