A funnel assembly (100) for vertical downward transportation of bulk material (130) comprises a row of tunnel elements (110, 410). An assembly of frames (175) holds the funnel elements (110, 410). The frames (175) are interconnected by means of vertical wires (180, 180~) and by connecting means (190) connecting adjacent frames (175).
