PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device and a recording device which function to easily mitigate an increase in output voltage caused by a rapid decrease in load current with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A dummy load is connected to a part of a power supply circuit disposed in a power supply device. In synchronization with a reset signal outputted to an integrated circuit that supplies power when an input voltage from a DC power supply becomes lower than a predetermined threshold value, a power supply from the power supply circuit to the integrated circuit is stopped. At this time, a rapid variation in output voltage is mitigated by configuring so that part of the power from the power supply circuit is supplied to the dummy load. |
