PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently search effective meta data for searching without the need of manual settings, when a constant relationship is consciously or unconsciously established between a content class of a document file and scan setting data or an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus causes a control unit 60 to make a registration request of a document file and meta data for searching associated with a note in a notebook to an RPC client 64, by taking a model name of an image forming apparatus 20 as the name of the notebook being the meta data, and taking a color mode, document image reading resolution, document size and file format being parts of scan setting data as tags being the meta data. |
