PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that if a collection side electrode is a flat plate-like substrate as in a conventional method, a solution electrostatically sprayed spreads to an entire surface of the electrode and if the amount of liquid condensed on a surface of an atomization electrode becomes excessive, unnecessary discharges are caused and a collection amount at a collection electrode decreases.SOLUTION: In a method of collecting a sample gas by using an electrostatic spraying device, an atomization electrode is heated by using a thermoelectric element for temperature control in an atomization electrode part and an excess of a first condensate liquid is vaporized in order to prevent unnecessary discharges from being caused. The heating is performed only at a timing when an excess is detected. Thus, the amount of the first condensate liquid is properly maintained and as a result decrease of collection efficiency at a collection electrode is prevented. |
