PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an environmental temperature without adding a temperature detector.SOLUTION: A camera system captures images of a subject and creates image data. The camera system includes: an operation part having operating characteristics according to an environmental temperature and operated when capturing the images; a housing that houses the operation part; multiple temperature detection parts respectively detecting temperatures of detection target areas different from each other in the housing; a temperature estimation part estimating the environmental temperature on the basis of the temperatures detected by the multiple temperature detection parts; and a control part controlling the operation part on the basis of the environmental temperature estimated by the temperature estimation part. |
