PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a styrene-based resin extrusion-foamed body excellent in flame retardancy, thermal stability, environmental compatibility and formability.SOLUTION: A styrene-based resin extrusion-foamed body is obtained by extrusion-foaming by using a polystyrene resin and a foaming agent. The foaming agent includes a mixture of (a) carbon dioxide and (b) at least one compound selected from the group consisting of lower alcohols and water. The foamed body includes, as a flame retardant with respect to 100 parts by weight of the styrene-based resin, 1 to 6 parts by weight of (A) a mixture flame retardant comprising tetrabromobisphenol-A-bis(2,3-dibromo-2-methylpropylether) and tetrabromobisphenol-A-bis(2,3-dibromopropylether), or (B) a mixture flame retardant comprising tetrabromobisphenol-A-bis(2,3-dibromo-2-methylpropylether) and tris(2,3-dibromopropyl)isocyanurate. The proportion of the tetrabromobisphenol-A-bis(2,3-dibromo-2-methylpropylether) included in the mixture bromine-based flame retardant is 25 wt.% to 75 wt.%. |
