PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for effectively and efficiently administering zolmitriptan in a microneedle coating composition containing zolmitriptan and having high solubility in a solvent and high viscosity to prevent liquid dripping after coating.SOLUTION: A zolmitriptan-containing coating composition for a microneedle device includes zolmitriptan, a polar solvent with boiling point of ≥90°C, and an acid. In the composition, a mass ratio of the acid to the zolmitriptan is from 1:2 to 1:5.
