PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device which effectively supplies a developer to a supply roller, improves the stability of a solid density, and produces a good quality image.SOLUTION: A developing unit 4 comprises: a developing roller 17; a supply roller 20 which rotates in a rotation direction E opposite to a surface of the developing roller 17 at a nip part N; an accumulation part Q which is provided upward the supply roller 20, and accumulates toner T; a storage chamber 18 which is provided downward the accumulation part Q, and stores the toner T; an agitation member 22 which is provided inside the storage chamber 18, and conveys the toner T from the storage chamber 18 to the accumulation part Q; and a toner return member 50 including a close part 59 which is a close side to the supply roller 20 opposite to the supply roller 20 in the vicinity of the supply roller 20 in an area downstream the nip part N in the rotation direction E of the supply roller 20, and upper edge parts 51a, 58a which are formed on the far side from the supply roller 20, and have different positions from the close part 59 in the longitudinal direction Z. |
