PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article transfer device capable of transferring an article to a proper position, while simplifying its structure.SOLUTION: An operation of a first motor 33a for a forward/backward movement is suspended when a torque of a first set value or more occurs in the first motor 33a for the forward/backward movement while a first article holder 27a is being moved in a protruding manner toward a protruded position by the operation of the first motor 33a for the forward/backward movement. Also, an operation of a second motor 33b for a forward/backward movement is suspended when a torque of a second set value or more occurs in the second motor 33b for the forward/backward movement while a second article holder 27b is being moved in a protruding manner toward a protruded position by the operation of the second motor 33b for the forward/backward movement. |
