PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of utilizing characteristics of a demagnetizing core while ensuring continuity of a center core, preventing excessive temperature rise of ends in a paper width direction of a fixing member, and suppressing the occurrence of glossiness unevenness between ends in a width direction and a central part of a sheet-like medium to be fed; and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A demagnetizing coil 15 having a coil part that orthogonally intersects with a paper width direction x is used to gradually reduce magnetic flux for induction heating by an exciting coil in the paper width direction x. |
