摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image encoding device that is capable of obtaining a prediction vector having superior accuracy at the time of parallax compensation prediction encoding.SOLUTION: An image encoding device, which encodes a plurality of viewpoint images, includes: a parallax information generation part for generating, based on a depth image corresponding to a first viewpoint image out of a plurality of viewpoint images, parallax information between the first viewpoint image and a second viewpoint image, which is different from the first viewpoint image, out of the plurality of viewpoint images; and image encoding part for generating, based on the parallax information corresponding to at least one of an encoding target block and its adjacent blocks included in the first viewpoint image, a prediction vector for the encoding target block and performing, using the prediction vector, encoding of the encoding target block by an inter-viewpoint prediction encoding system.
