PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet detecting device capable of improving throughput and to provide a sheet conveying device and an image forming device equipped therewith.SOLUTION: A sheet detecting device includes a detecting unit having a lever member 73 having an abutting face 73a and a holding member 71 holding the lever member 73, the lever member 73 and the holding member 71 being integrally movable with the abutting face 73a pushed by the front end of a sheet, an optical sensor 75b capable of detecting the position of the detecting unit, a first energizing spring 72 for energizing the holding member 71 to move the holding member 71 to a standby position after the lever member 73 and the holding member 71 are integrally moved, a movable supporting part for movably supporting the lever member 73 on the holding member 71 so that the lever member 73 is located at a retreat position where the sheet can pass in the state where the holding member 71 is located at the standby position, and a second energizing spring 74 for energizing the lever member 73 to move it to a position where the abutting face 73a abuts on the front end of the following sheet along with the sheet passing therethrough. |
