PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall prevention device reducing complexity in an operation and capable of surely preventing fall of a stored object in a storage space, and to provide a storage.SOLUTION: A fall prevention device includes: a fall prevention member 6 disposed between a storage space 17 of a storage body 1 and closed doors 2 and 3; a fall prevention member retaining mechanism 7 that retains the fall prevention member 6 movably between a retraction position (A) that allows to take a stored object F in and out from the storage body 1, and a fall prevention position (B) for preventing the moving of the stored object F stored in the storage body 1, in the falling direction; and a fall prevention member drive mechanism 8 that moves the fall prevention member 6 from the retraction position (A) to the fall prevention position (B) at least using an operation of closing the doors 2 and 3. |
