PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and an image forming method that are capable of completing printing without requiring post-processing such as movement, enlargement, or reduction.SOLUTION: Display means displays composite image data obtained by combining document data read by reading means and subject data captured by imaging means in a state where an operation panel is detached from an image forming device body, and printing means prints out the composite image data.
