PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems on safety and increase in size of equipment as a whole, in a conventional device for extracting a muzzle loading-type shell.SOLUTION: A device for extracting a muzzle loading-type shell S loaded in a bore Ca, includes a case 2 an internal space of which is divided into two by a separation film 1, a gas-forming agent 3 received in one space 2A of the case 2, an initiator 4 received in the other space 2B of the case 2 and dissolving the gas-forming agent 3 to generate a gas by chemical reaction, and a gas hose 5 connecting one space 2A of the case 2 and a bottom section of the bore Ca, and the separation film 1 of the case 2 can be destroyed by man-made external force. As it is unnecessary to directly handle the loaded shell S, and the device is one-way type using the gas-forming agent 3 and the initiator 4, both of safety assurance and reduction in size and weight of equipment can be simultaneously achieved. |
