PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for in-flight adjusting of a flight plan of an aircraft to provide a low cost flight.SOLUTION: Based on at least present state data of an aircraft along a flight plan, performance data for the aircraft, and the flight plan data, a method 100 is based on a step 102 for predicting trajectory for completing the flight and a step 104 for computing cost of completing the flight plan, chooses the minimum cost trajectory from a set of the acceptable predicted trajectories, and operates the aircraft. |
