PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an input load of a link of an internal combustion engine in which one end rotates and the other end rocks.SOLUTION: A piston-crank mechanism 6 of an internal combustion engine 1 has a rocker arm 10 capable of rocking around a fulcrum, a first link 11 for connecting one end of the rocker arm 10 with a piston 2, and a second link 12 for connecting the other end of the rocker arm 10 with a crank pin 5. The center of gravity of the second link 12 is specified to position toward the crank pin 5 from a midpoint N of a line segment connecting between the center of a coupling part of the second link 12 and the rocker arm 10 and the center of the crank pin 5 in a crank shaft-axial view. Thus, input load applied to the second link 12 in a direction perpendicular to a line passing through the center of the coupling part of the second link 12 and the rocker arm 10 and the center of the crank pin 5 in the crank shaft-axial view can be reduced. |
