PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a liquid in a liquid container from flowing out even if the liquid container, mounted on a liquid consuming device, is removed before the liquid container empties.SOLUTION: A liquid container includes: a container body provided with a container-side opening; and a lid member 110 attached rotatably to the container body in a position where it closes the container-side opening. The liquid container is mounted on the mounting part of a liquid consuming device by a mounting operation involving rotation. The lid member 110 includes: a positioning part configured to position the lid member 110 with respect to the mounting part in the rotating direction in the mounting operation; and a lid-side opening communicating with the container-side opening by the mounting operation. The container body is provided with a separation preventing part configured to engage with the mounting part when the lid-side opening and the container-side opening communicate with each other. |
