PURPOSE: A method of measuring a cardiac output from blood pressure uses blood pressure data and time constant and facilitates correction. CONSTITUTION: A waveform of arterial pressure is obtained through hemodynamometry. Data necessary for measuring a cardiac output from the waveform of the arterial pressure is obtained. A time constant is calculated from the data. A flux variation of blood is calculated from the time constant. One time stroke volume of a heart according to the flux variation form of blood is calculated.
