PURPOSE: An additive composition for tires is provided to provide tires with improved mechanical properties such as tensile strength and hardness and prevent occurrence of a blooming phenomenon during a tire manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION: An additive composition for tire comprises 75-85 parts by weight of sulfur, 15-20 parts by weight of dicyclopentadiene, 1-2 parts by weight of process oil, and 0.1-1 parts by weight of antioxidant. The content of an oligomer of the dicyclopentadiene is 1-50 parts by weight. The molecular weight of dicyclopentadiene is 2-50. The additive composition for tire further comprises 1-2 parts by weight of filler. The filler is comprised from more than one selected from a group of silica, titanium dioxide, and graphite. |
