PURPOSE: An independent brake control device and a railway vehicle with the same are provided to improve independent brake force by outputting current compensation signals to an independent brake electronic valve so that an actual output brake pressure and a target output brake pressure can be same. CONSTITUTION: An independent brake control device for a railway vehicle comprises an independent brake handle(10), a brake controller(20), and an independent brake electronic valve(50). A driver inputs an independent brake command to the independent brake handle. The brake controller generates and outputs an independent brake control current signal corresponding to the independent brake command. The independent brake electronic valve controls the outputted amount of air supplied to a main air container(30) according to the opening degree of the valve, thereby controlling an output brake pressure outputted to an output terminal.
