PURPOSE: A driver seat airbag device and an operation method thereof are provided for protecting a driver by inflating selected cushions matched with the condition of a driver independently. CONSTITUTION: A driver seat airbag device comprises a plurality of air bag cushions(51, 52, 53, 54), an inflator(60), and an airbag control unit ACU(Airbag Control Unit)(70). The plurality of air bag cushions is inflated independently. The inflator sprays gas to each air bag cushions independently. The ACU controls the inflator. |
