An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device is provided to configure a black matrix as a solar battery which generates an electric current according to the incidence of light, thereby extending greatly a used time of an electronic device. An LCD device includes first and second substrates(30), plural gate lines and data lines, TFTs(Thin Film Transistors), a color filter layer, and a black matrix(50). The plural gate lines and data lines are formed on the first substrate to define plural pixels. The TFTs are formed in each pixel. The color filter layer is formed on the second substrate to realize colors. The black matrix is formed on the second substrate to intercept light transmitted to an image non-display area and generate an electric current according as light is inputted from the outside. |
